Gold Coast finally got their first win of the season last week, but it came against a struggling Dragons side and this is a significant step up in class. The Titans have already shown this season that they struggle against stronger opposition, conceding heavily in multiple losses.

Brisbane, on the other hand, appear to have turned a corner after their slow start. Back-to-back wins over Melbourne and the Dolphins have restored confidence, and they now welcome back Payne Haas, a huge boost to their forward pack and overall control of the game.
