The A-League resumes with Round 3 of the 2025/26 season this weekend.
Read on below for the fixtures schedule.
Brisbane Roar vs Melbourne City
- Date: Friday October 31
- Venue: Suncorp Stadium
- Time: 7.35pm AEDT
City have made an unbeaten start to the new season and are coming off a 4-0 demolition of Perth last week, with young striker Max Caputo stepping up to announce himself as a future star. Brisbane meanwhile failed to build on their promising opening round victory over Macarthur at home, losing 2-1 in injury time across the ditch to Wellington last week. City have won five of the last six meetings between the sides - including 8-1 and 4-1 thrashings during that period.
Perth Glory vs Melbourne Victory
- Date: Friday October 31
- Venue: HBF Park
- Time: 9.45pm AEDT
It's been more of the same for Glory to start the campaign, with manager David Zdrillic under immense pressure to hold onto his job. Perth were held to a 2-2 draw with Wellington at home to launch the season before suffering a heavy 4-0 defeat to City last week. Meanwhile, Victory have also started the season in poor fashion, playing out a 0-0 stalemate with Auckland before copping a 5-2 hiding from the Jets last week. Victory will be confident of getting off the mark given they've won their last four meetings with Glory.
Auckland FC vs Adelaide United
- Date: Saturday November 1
- Venue: Go Media Stadium
- Time: 3.00pm AEDT
Auckland are unbeaten to begin the season, drawing away to Victory before registering a 1-0 win over Victory at home last weekend. Auckland's defence was the cornerstone of their success in their debut campaign and they've maintained that steel, keeping two clean sheets to launch the season. Adelaide meanwhile have been up and down, producing a great performance to beat Sydney FC 2-1 at home before falling by an identical score away to Macarthur. These two teams couldn't be separated last season, playing out thrilling 2-2 and 4-4 draws.
Newcastle Jets vs Sydney FC
- Date: Saturday November 1
- Venue: McDonald Jones Stadium
- Time: 5.00pm AEDT
Should be a cracking contest. The Jets have transformed into arguably the most watchable team in the competition under Mark Milligan and are coming off a brilliant 5-2 win over Melbourne Victory last weekend, with rising star Alex Badalato scoring a hat-trick. Sydney meanwhile bounced back from their opening round defeat to Adelaide by toppling the Mariners 2-0 last week. There's been 4+ goals scored in the last four meetings between the teams and it wouldn't be surprising to see another goal-fest on Saturday.
Macarthur FC vs Western Sydney Wanderers
- Date: Saturday November 1
- Venue: Campbelltown Stadium
- Time: 7.35pm AEDT
The Wanderers are still searching for their first win of the season after a 1-1 draw with City and 1-0 defeat across the ditch to Auckland last week, while Macarthur got up and running with a 2-1 triumph at home over Adelaide last Monday night. Both teams have scored in the last seven encounters between these teams, with Western Sydney emerging victorious in the last two.
Central Coast Mariners vs Wellington Phoenix
- Date: Sunday November 2
- Venue: Polytec Stadium
- Time: 5.00pm AEDT
The Mariners came crashing back down to earth following their extraordinary 3-2 win over the Jets in the opening round, suffering a 2-0 defeat on the road to Sydney last week. Phoenix meanwhile remain unbeaten after their two games, earning a 2-2 draw on the road in the Distance Derby against Perth before leaving it late to edge out Brisbane 2-1 at home last weekend. Four of the last seven meetings between the sides have ended in a draw - perhaps another share of the spoils is on the cards in Gosford.
