AFL Prelim Finals Tips 2026: Best Bets & Predictions

The hottest weekend for a neutral supporter is here - Prelim Finals!

Two cracking games with Sydney hosting Fremantle and Hawthorn vs Brisbane at the G.

Here are our best bets for both games in Week 3 of the 2026 AFL Finals.

Sydney Swans vs Fremantle Dockers

Best Bet: Fremantle 1-39 Win Margin
The Dockers bounced back to their best last week in a tough semi-final win over Geelong. Sydney have over delivered in two massive games following the suspension of arguably 3 of their top 5 players. The difference in talent across the park will eventually catch up with them and Freo will be primed for a win to push them into a Grand Final.

Hawthorn Hawks vs Brisbane Lions

Best Bet: Cam Rayner 2+ Goals
Brisbane are slight favourites to win this game at the G and book a 4th straight Grand Final appearance. Their demolition of Adelaide last week showed the potency of their attack and Cam Rayner was one of the players that took the game on.

Throughout the last few years of finals, he has stepped up to the plate on multiple occasions and delivered when his team has needed him most. Expect it again in this one.
