AFL Finals Week 2 Tips 2026: Best Bets for Every Game

Two massive upsets in the Qualifying Finals means we head to Perth and Brisbane for this weekend's Semi-Finals.

Here are our best bets for both games in Week 2 of the 2026 AFL Finals.

Fremantle Dockers vs Geelong Cats

Best Bet: Fremantle -9.5 Line
The Dockers were completely outplayed by Hawthorn in their 72-40 Qualifying Final loss last weekend. Their backline looked frazzled and they were unable to absorb the pressure in attacking 50 to allow Treacy, Amiss or Voss to do any damage to the scoreboard.

Geelong though are not the team that wins through high intensity pressure, they pick you apart and convert their chances. The Dockers are good at limiting chances and matchup well on a player vs player basis. Both teams took a win on their home deck in the regular season but Fremantle are the team to back in this finals matchup.

Brisbane Lions vs Adelaide Crows

Best Bet: Brisbane 40+ Win Margin
Brisbane are heavy favourites to win this game at the Gabba despite being thoroughly outplayed by an undermanned Sydney Swans team last weekend 141-88. Similarly to last year, the Lions have not had a great start to their finals campaign but are a completely different beast at home where they have won 5 straight games as well as 5 straight finals matchups.

Adelaide did well to get over the Western Bulldogs and will keep the game close enough early to take advantage if Brisbane slip up again like they did last weekend. But it is not a smart play to back an Underdog by this number in a do or die finals game.
