Geelong and Brisbane both powered into the Grand Final with decisive victories in their prelims last weekend.
All eyes will be on the team lists to see if Lachie Neale has managed to recover and take his spot in the Lions team while the Cats will need to make do without Tom Stewart who is in concussion protocol.

2025 AFL Finals - Week 2
Freo and GWS were the first teams eliminated from Finals with the Collingwood Magpies $3.30 and Geelong Cats $2.45 going straight through to a prelim final.
Adelaide Crows $11 have fallen dramatically while the Gold Coast Suns $20 are the outsiders.

The Fremantle Dockers $23 secured their spot in the finals with a last round domination of the Western Bulldogs. Gold Coast Suns $31 secured their maiden finals berth with a win in the makeup game against Essendon on Wednesday night.
Geelong $3.75 are the favourites to take the flag with their experience and form but Adelaide Crows $5.00 should not be discounted.

Only 9 teams remain in the hunt prior to Round 23. Adelaide are the clear favourites following the form slump from Collingwood with the Cats sneaking up behind them. Brisbane are right in with a chance to defend their crown from 2024 as the top 4 looks to sort itself out.
The Dockers are temporarily in line for second chance but have two tough matches remaining against teams competing for spots. The Suns, Hawks, Bulldogs and Giants can't all fit in, one will miss out. Whoever blinks first is in the firing line and right now the Bulldogs are the ones with the least margin of error.
The Run Home
Collingwood are still the team to beat but they are not as invincible as they were earlier on which the Suns showed in a rd 18 victory.
Adelaide have proven they deserve to be in the conversation while the Dogs have struggled to win against top 9 opponents. The Giants and Hawks have had inconsistent patches but will be there come September and are teams nobody wants to meet in a finals matchup.

Freo and the Suns are in a battle with Western Bulldogs for the last few spots on the ladder and have both beaten elite opponents all season long.
Brisbane and Geelong are in the same conversation as the Pies and will look to manage their roster to ensure they are peaking at the right time.
Mid-Season Analysis
The Collingwood Magpies are definately the team to beat after 12 rounds of competition. Even with a tough schedule playing a lot of top ranked opponents they have come out on top. Adelaide Crows and Gold Coast Suns are still the surprise packets of the league and provide value to punters willing to back a dark horse to take premiership glory.
The Brisbane Lions have done what many defending premiers have failed to do over the past decade by continuing to win games while the Cats, Bulldogs, Giants, Dockers and Hawks all remain in contention.
There is a big gap from the top 9 teams to the rest of the field.
Pre-season analysis
With the Lions installed as early favourites all eyes are on the competitors. Last year's runners up the Sydney Swans are priced at $10.00 while the 2023 premiers Collingwood are also at $10.
Both Fremantle and Port Adelaide were strong contenders for much of the year last year but fell off toward the end. You are getting good value on those teams in the pre-season.
With the ageing roster of the GWS Giants this could be the final year they are able to hold the elite level of play that they have delivered over the past 5 years.
The Gold Coast Suns were the strongest home team in the AFL last season, if they can rememdy their form on the road $41 is an absolute steal!
North Melbourne, West Coast and Richmond are all still rebuilding for the future.
